The Monardo Extending Dining Table is produced using a blend of solid oak and burr oak veneer.

The table can be extended to provide comfortable seating space for up to eight people (extends to 210 cm).

When the table is un-extended the ‘centre leaf’ (additional panels of wood) are stored inside the table and is housed on specially crafted timber bars. To extend the table the ‘centre leafs’ are opened up using a butterfly mechanism on traditional timber extension runners.

It has a solid oak timber base, oak frame top with burr oak end details. The joints are secured with traditional wooden dowels and glue.

Finally it is sealed and sanded repeatedly by hand. It is then finished with an environmentally friendly lacquer that is water resistant.
